"Hey" - King

Photobucket

To be perfectly honest, I've been slacking on posting. I thought about going with my tumblr hardcore so I fully fixed that and everything, yet I like the platform of blogger a little more the confidentiality or something. Maybe because people can't reblog my feelings, not sure. Nonetheless, a few months ago I was exposed to the trio King and all of their awesomeness and on my journey to work these days, I've been listening to this song every single day. Enjoy! I'll be posting this weekend a butt load of stuff so get ready for that.

I wish I could stop being so moody and one day actually feel the way these lyrics are.

Caroline Casey: Looking Past Limits

And on my 17th birthday, I accompanied my little sister in complete innocence, as I always had all my life -- my visually impaired sister -- to go to see an eye specialist. Because big sisters are always supposed to support their little sisters. And my little sister wanted to be a pilot -- God help her. So I used to get my eyes tested just for fun. And on my 17th birthday, after my fake eye exam, the eye specialist just noticed it happened to be my birthday. And he said, "So what are you going to do to celebrate?" And I took that driving lesson, and I said, "I'm going to learn how to drive." And then there was a silence -- one of those awful silences when you know something's wrong. And he turned to my mother, and he said, "You haven't told her yet?" On my 17th birthday, as Janice Ian would best say, I learned the truth at 17: I am, and have been since birth, legally blind.

Need these in my life.

Jeffery Campbell Lana Platform Boot-Leopard Suede, amazing. It's to the point I'd risk not meeting boys while I'm out just to wear these-- I see my whole outfit in my head now, all black, dark plum lip, thick but thin eyeliner--hair in a bun, or ponytail. yessss!

Let's Play Catch Up

I haven't been writing on here in a while, I will start soon. Lots of shits been happening, notably I got a job-- a temporary road detour to my ultimate career destiny. I will be working as a Pathology Clerk, so I've been in orientation for that and next week starts training. What else, uhhhh... that's all I can think of. Been on a diet? lost 22 lbs and some change. uh.. yes that's all.
