"Hey" - King

Photobucket

To be perfectly honest, I've been slacking on posting. I thought about going with my tumblr hardcore so I fully fixed that and everything, yet I like the platform of blogger a little more the confidentiality or something. Maybe because people can't reblog my feelings, not sure. Nonetheless, a few months ago I was exposed to the trio King and all of their awesomeness and on my journey to work these days, I've been listening to this song every single day. Enjoy! I'll be posting this weekend a butt load of stuff so get ready for that.

I wish I could stop being so moody and one day actually feel the way these lyrics are.

Caroline Casey: Looking Past Limits

And on my 17th birthday, I accompanied my little sister in complete innocence, as I always had all my life -- my visually impaired sister -- to go to see an eye specialist. Because big sisters are always supposed to support their little sisters. And my little sister wanted to be a pilot -- God help her. So I used to get my eyes tested just for fun. And on my 17th birthday, after my fake eye exam, the eye specialist just noticed it happened to be my birthday. And he said, "So what are you going to do to celebrate?" And I took that driving lesson, and I said, "I'm going to learn how to drive." And then there was a silence -- one of those awful silences when you know something's wrong. And he turned to my mother, and he said, "You haven't told her yet?" On my 17th birthday, as Janice Ian would best say, I learned the truth at 17: I am, and have been since birth, legally blind.

Need these in my life.

Jeffery Campbell Lana Platform Boot-Leopard Suede, amazing. It's to the point I'd risk not meeting boys while I'm out just to wear these-- I see my whole outfit in my head now, all black, dark plum lip, thick but thin eyeliner--hair in a bun, or ponytail. yessss!

Let's Play Catch Up

I haven't been writing on here in a while, I will start soon. Lots of shits been happening, notably I got a job-- a temporary road detour to my ultimate career destiny. I will be working as a Pathology Clerk, so I've been in orientation for that and next week starts training. What else, uhhhh... that's all I can think of. Been on a diet? lost 22 lbs and some change. uh.. yes that's all.

Videos and Shit

I do a bad job at promoting videos and stuff that I do as of lately, I should definitely work on promoting for my site again. I feel like my head is in jumbles, and since I really am the only one posting plus freelancing and working, and somehow in between that time trying to have a social life, I feel like my life is busy to be not so busy. Anywho, this is a J*DaVeY interview I did for my freelance stuff

When does the Bachelor Lifestyle have to stop?

Today, was my last day of work (on the weekends) because I got a new job where I'll start working M-F 1-5 to save up money so I can move to LA or NY. I've been working since I was around 14, and somehow, saving money wasn't an importance to me. I do now, but yes I digress. Anyway, I have an older friend that was a patient at my job James, and he came back on the 22nd to be inpatient again. He's funny. Loud! loud! loud! but funny. We always have these conversations that he timestamps--"that album was his sixth it came out in 1949 between the summer of that year" and all these random tidbits of information. He always asks me about boyfriends, and despite still being single, I've focused my energy on someone this time around so I kind of told him that. His response, was quite contradictory to his lifestyle:

"Any guy would be lucky to have you as his girlfriend."
Not contradictory in a weird way, because as they say-- with age comes wisdom. I'm a catch, this I know about myself (tooting my horn) I'm 22, a college graduate, independent, works for what I want don't really need a man for that purpose. Have a great sense of humor, smart, boys mothers all love me. Well spoken, highly motivated plus I cook like really well--gumbo, steak, everything. Again, I digress.

James, doesn't believe in relationships however. He's 70+ and never had a girlfriend, and never had an interest in having a relationship. He said a direct quote, "I've never went to Union Square and attempted to bird watch as women." During our conversation today, I started to interview him and ask him some questions because I wanted to post this. "It's hard to get around a Mulberry Bush. I don't know why."

He said, what would make a woman attractive or interested in dating is exciting, good personality, likes easy listening music, dark hair, and adventurous. Are these the tools to make a lasting relationship, or to end or "Bachelor" like lifestyles? What are your opinions?

Kim Kardashian's True Blue Hues

I'd never be the person to say, "Kim Kardashian inspired me to do this" because it sounds socially contradictory--atleast to myself, nonetheless, I am a fan of this look. J Brand Blue Jeans,LnA white tee, Rick Owens leather Jacket, Christian Louboutin spike booties and Chanel Purse
